INITIATIVES
Social Investment and Incentive Laws
Machado Meyer supports civil society organizations through social investment and incentive laws, strengthening initiatives focused on education, citizenship, and social development.
Social investment is carried out through Machado Meyer Institute, which directly supports these organizations. The Institute also coordinates the management and monitoring of projects supported by the firm through tax incentive laws.
In addition, the Institute leads its own initiative focused on advancing citizenship education in basic education, bringing together different stakeholders and contributing to strengthening this agenda within education systems.
Volunteering
Volunteering at Machado Meyer is one of the main ways we turn purpose into action. Through the engagement of our people, we connect knowledge, time, and experience with civil society organizations and causes aligned with work our social responsibility agenda.
As one of the largest volunteering programs among law firms in Brazil, we promote initiatives that strengthen organizations, foster meaningful exchanges, and amplify collective impact through collaboration.

Sustainability
Machado Meyer's sustainability agenda continues to evolve, integrating practices aimed at reducing environmental impacts, improving resource management, and strengthening internal engagement. Our approach is structured around four pillars — resource management, waste and circular economy, indirect environmental impacts, and culture, governance and engagement — which guide our decisions and consolidate a comprehensive view of our operations.
With a focus on data and transparency, we have improved the monitoring of consumption and the measurement of emissions, resulting in the development of the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Report, which brings together high-quality data on our emissions and supports the definition of strategies for increasingly responsible operations aligned with best practices.
